What is the Rule of Nines in server reliability?
The Rule of Nines is a standard used in IT and cloud infrastructure to measure service availability. Each “nine” represents an additional level of uptime reliability.
For example:
- 99% uptime
- 99.9% uptime
- 99.99% uptime
- 99.999% uptime
More nines = less downtime.
